Skyzone Cabling Solutions provides structured cabling across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. A well-designed cabling system is the foundation of every network, and it should last as long as the building. Since 2010 we've designed and installed structured cabling for offices, retail stores and warehouses.

What Structured Cabling Includes

Structured cabling is an organized, standards-based system that connects every device in your building back to a central network room. Instead of a tangle of point-to-point cables, you get a system that's easy to manage, expand and troubleshoot.

Horizontal cabling. Cat6 or Cat6a runs from your network room to every desk, ceiling access point, camera and device location, terminated, tested and labeled.

Racks, cabinets and patch panels. We mount and organize your network equipment so every connection is easy to find and trace.

Backbone connections. We link network rooms across floors or buildings so your whole site works as one network.

Testing and documentation. Every run is tested with a Fluke Networks LinkIQ and labeled at both ends, so you get proof each cable performs and your IT team knows exactly where it goes.

Structured Cabling FAQ

Why not just run cables as needed?
Ad-hoc cabling becomes impossible to trace, slows down troubleshooting and costs more to fix later. Structured cabling is organized from day one, so adding or moving devices is quick and cheap.

Cat6 or Cat6a?
Cat6 suits most businesses. Cat6a supports 10-gigabit speeds over full-length runs and is a good choice for server rooms, high-density Wi-Fi and buildings planning for the long term.

Can you work with our electrician or general contractor?
Yes. We coordinate with your trades to rough in before walls close and terminate at the end of construction.

Do you supply materials?
Yes. We supply cable, jacks, patch panels, racks and patch cords, or install what your project provides.
